Iron dextran, also called ferrodextran, is an organic iron complex compound.  Used as raw materials to manufactory (veterinary) iron dextran injections for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia of large and small livestock.

Veterinary Medicine Factory of Guangxi Research Institute of Chemical Industry, a state-owned provincial veterinary medicine research units, is one of the subordinate enterprises of Guangxi Research Institute of Chemical Industry.  The production line of small volume injection, high-capacity injection, and iron dextran raw materials has passed the GMP inspection of the Ministry of Agriculture of P.R.China for animal drugs.  "Sanjing" iron dextran stock solution (veterinary) was the first creation in china, and has obtained the National Invention Patent in 1998 (Patent No. ZL88107217.6).  "SanJing Sheng Xue Shu", refined from the iron dextran stock solution, with significant effects are well-known throughout the country. The product has acquired many country-level  honors, such as scientific and technological progress awards, China spark plan famous quality products, China's patent Prize for excellence, The national key new product, National spark plan project, China's famous new products. The quantity and quality that the product has obtained, are the highest among the domestic similar products.

So far, Sanjing iron dextran stock solution (veterinary) has more than 20 years of production history.  Our mature technology and stability have made us the best quality among similar domestic products. Production technology has been upgrade many times based on the first generation of production. We were the first in China to adopt one step complexation reaction technique, molecular weight control technique, nano-filtration desalting electrodialysis desalination and many other new technologies.  The process water has pass through reverse osmosis and multi-effect distillation, purification; the main raw material is analytical reagent (10 times higher than average price of normal raw materials).  The product has characteristics of stable contents, low level content of free iron and toxic heavy metal, molecular weight evenly, suitable viscosity, which can be comparable to first-class imported products.  Sanjing iron dextran has been exported to Europe, North America and Southeast Asia regions.  Several veterinary drug factories in china also use our product for production, which has greatly  improved the quality of their products.

At present, the factory has an annual output of 300 tons of liquid standardized production lines and complete testing method of the production process, strictly according to FDA norms and GMP certification for animal drugs.
